It's Challenge Time Again Over At The House Mouse Challenge Blog

This was truly a challenge for me! The challenge was to use Paper Piecing, and boy this is hard for me! I have never done this before and the first time shouldn't be on a House Mouse. But I conquered and sucked it up and did it. So the first thing I had to do is find a House Mouse Stamp that looked easy enough to paper piece. I came up with Morning Kick Start, and what a cute stamp this is! Long and behold when I was cutting out the image I totally forgot about the little mousie hands, total blonde moment I think. Those are super hard to cut out, so I just decided to cut another little hand and piece it overtop colored in the color I wanted. This is what I came up with.

I am not sure I am happy with it, and it is as good as the other Design Teams creations on the House Mouse Challenge Blog but at least I tried.

Details:

Stamps: Morning Kickstart (House Mouse), Sentiment and Coffee Beans (MFT, Hot Stuff)
Patterned Paper: from my stash
Cardstock: Bazzill
Ink: Versacolor (Pinecone), Brillance (Graphite Black)
Markers: Copics (C-3, RV02, E21)
Other: Buttons

Thanks for looking!

I love that stamp and your card is really cute. I haven't tried paper piecing but it looks pretty neat.
